Birthday Parties
Yes, Mike often does balloons at birthday parties as either Balloons By Mike or Sir Toony Van Dukes. Balloons are a great treat for the guests at your child’s birthday party. Mike has a one hour minimum for all parties. The amount of time required depends on the number of children expected so that there is enough time for all of the kids to get a balloon. When time is tight, Mike will make basic balloons that are fast. When given more time, Mike can make fancier balloons such as alien, super hero, or princess balloons.

NOTE: Balloon are not appropriate for young children who still put things in their mouths. Balloons can be a choking hazard and should not be given to children under the age of three.

Parades
Sir Toony Van Dukes loves to participate in parades. He and his friends participate in several parades each year including the George Washington Birthday Parade, Falls Church Memorial Day Parade, City of Fairfax Independence Day Parade, Vienna Halloween Parade, and the Reston Holiday Parade. Sir Toony welcomes invitations to participate in other parades, such as a school Homecoming Parade.

Restaurants
Mike has done many events at restaurants. For several years Mike made regular visits to Moe’s Southwest Grill in South Riding for Kid’s Night. He also hosted a balloon jam at Cici’s Pizza in Chantilly. He has also done balloons and face painting for parties and fundraisers at restaurants.

Festivals
Mike had done balloons and face painting at a variety of festivals and fairs. Larger events often require multiple entertainers to keep the lines short and meet the demands of the guests. Mike has a working relationship with many of the other area entertainers and can often find someone to help. Please book early for large community events.

Face Painting
Mike Becvar is also a professional face painter. He is available to do face painting at any event. Kids love to have their faces painted to look like their favorite animals or superheros. With small groups, Mike can do both face painting and balloons for the children at the event.

Mike always uses makeup specifically designed for painting faces. He likes using face paints from SNAZAROO USA. NEVER allow your children to be painted with acrylic paints, tempera paints, colored markers meant for use on paper or any other product that was not specifically designed to be used and worn on the face. The paints that Mike uses can be washed off easily with soap and water.

Helium Balloons and Balloon Deliveries
Unfortunately, Mike does NOT work with helium or make balloon deliveries. He also does not sell balloons or party supplies. You can buy small helium tanks from many stores that sell party supplies. Contact a flower shop for balloon or flower deliveries.
